David W. Russell, Executive Director, Strategic Projects

As the Executive Director for Strategic Projects, David’s primary responsibility is to manage the inside sales organization. This team is responsible for the identification, cultivation, and creation of new prospect companies which will then be connected with our outside sales force. A secondary responsibility is to develop and implement a strategic marketing program that includes direct mail and public relations campaigns to help drive the corporate sales goals.

David comes to Alpine Access from Qwest Communications where he was responsible for the direct marketing strategy and campaign development for the small business segments. His 2006 efforts contributed to a revenue increase of $66 million, which represented an increase of approximately 6% over 2005 revenue from these segments. David’s additional responsibilities at Qwest included corporate mass media and product marketing to consumer, small business, and enterprise segments. He was also the Director of Marketing for CompassCom, Inc., a leading provider of AVL/GPS technology.

David is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA in marketing from the University of Denver.
